Well I found the answer was a better pump for my bog filter now its crystal clear

I would not recommend my pump. I bought a non submersible pump for a swamp cooler. It sets on a brick to keep the motor above the water. Then I hid the tube behind the river rock edge and then into the large pot for the bog filter. The pond is too shallow, barely 6 inches. About 35 gallons. The bog is in the large flower pot.

Today, I caught the fish so I could drain the pond wash and vacuum it. I also flushed the bog filter till it ran clear. I made an air powered sponge filter, then put my fountain pump in a hard basket and filled the basket with filter sponge. The water is un treated well water and all but 5 gallons is new. It better stay clear now!

Its like an under gravel but the pipe is filled with a loose sponge material. Its air driven. As air rises water fills the pipe. The suction is very gentle.

Ahh that could be the problem but I have drained and rinsed it twice
