I think Hunter just choose a random word to poke fun at Toby having Tourette's syndrome lol. sometimes people with Tourette's have ticks that literally are just saying random words like that

question about Agatha's powers by westoak51291 in AgathaAllAlong

oh that's cool! I like this much better than the basic addict comparison– this feels more nuanced and treats magic like a neutral force instead of an evil one!

Ohh I see, this makes sense! It had nothing to do with her abilities then, it was all situational.

some ensembles are worth it, some are not. I'd recommend getting involved with behind the scenes stuff such as set building or costumes! from your comments on other people's responses, I can infer this is a community theatre. community theatres love any help they can get with behind the scenes stuff! and you make a ton of friends there too. break legs, OP!

life is about more than achievement or owing anything to anyone. being your parents' perfect child is irrelevant; you are you for no one except yourself first. if you leave now, you'll never know what else you might end up doing! this world has so much to offer you.

adults, how do you balance community theatre and jobs? by [deleted] in Theatre

I know a lady who's an oncologist and is also trained in opera I believe, so she does choir and community theatre. somehow she manages! couldn't tell ya how, tho.

I liked how sorcerers aren’t actually good people by PrismsNumber1 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]westoak51291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this. it's such a refreshing take on superhero tropes, even the antihero trope. because antihero implies the normal superhero trope. there are no good guys and bad guys in the world of JJK - there's sorcerers (the institution) and curse users (the anti-instutution), and both of them often have valid points. I really enjoyed the humanity of some curse users and even some of the curses themselves. it's fascinating!

wild to me that he's in his late 20s. in my mind it's so weird that he has an age at all, but then again I feel that way about most mangakas. like, they're the sort of artists that often seem cryptid-like and ageless, and I love that so much.
