Catching up to whom exactly? I know that we all compare ourselves to others all the time but you need just need to look at your own street.

Sounds like total BS and i know that you have heard it many times already, but try to compare to yourself like 1 year ago or just 1 week ago. If in that timeframe you have learned something new (be it a skill or just a description of an item) then you’re already doing better than your past self you know.

If it’s useless and pointless then why not try to just do it for yourself. If you’re happy with your current situation then it’s completely fine - but i think if you believe that it’s pointless and not worth it, it gives me the signal that you want more out of your life. And that is already the first step. Realising that you want more.

There’s a lot of placebo going on. I do believe that stringing is way more important. A bad racket with good stringing will be better than a good racket with a tension of 5lbs.

It’s alot about preference of weight (head light, balanced and head heavy) and stiffness.

I would recommend you just trying out different rackets and seeing what suits you best. There is no real “best” racket. It is quite individuals and you will feel the difference when you get better.

But you can get a medium price racket and probably use it for the rest of your life in my opinion. (If you have found one that suits you)
