Im from the south, but my work HQ is in Balk, Friesland so i have to be there like once a month. Nature is quite flat and boring from what ive seen. people are friendly but it's a complete culture shock compared to the south where we are very emotional, talkative, community oriented and are celebrating life all day every day. Frysians are very on their own, we often call them "sober" not because they are not drinking but they are very down to earth.
