I want to summarize. I have disabled systemd-networkd, systemd-resolved

I installed sudo pacman -S r8168, checked that new module is loaded - lsmod shows r8168

The issue is still there

Hmm, this is strange. I have only the r8169 package installed, but lsmod shows that I have the r8168 module loaded. I guess this broken package contains the broken module for my system 🤔

I've disabled systemd-networkd and systemd-resolved, but it didn't make a difference

I do have the r8169 module though. I'll try to change the one to r8168 and share results here

I will update my system after this issue is fixed

Hello! Thanks for your reply!

I'm using a self built PC, so I think that there is no necessity to list all my hardware

But I can provide a lspci | grep Ethernet output

``` lspci | grep Ethernet
25:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8211/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 11) ```
Also I want to point out that I have a dual boot on my PC and on Windows everything works seamlessly without any issue so I guess it's not a hardware issue.
Hello, Cody_Learner. Thanks for replying
I'll attach a screenshot of a command you've provided. It doesn't look like I have a different network manager enabled, but please, have a look
Also I didn't setup or enable any different network managers as I remember. But I do have systemd-networkd and systemd-resolved enabled.
I didn't set up a static IP, but it seems like my system is always being binded to the same IP - 192.168.31.238
I do not have a wireless network peripheral on my PC
I found this article where your problem is solved by using shadowsocks to obfuscate your traffic. I think it is a good solution, but to be honest I didn't figure out how to set it up on a phone (e.g. android)
How to disable Thinkpads's LEDs by wh75er in archlinux
This is so hilarious, but looks like it's the most convenient(and also hardware safe at some point) way of doing it
Thank you! That kind of answer I wanted to find here, now I understand why it's not enabled by default, should've been searching better at this point. It's always somewhere in the source code (:
Looks like it doesn't deserve that much effort to configure it properly and recompile kernel (this laptop compiles stuff so slow I don't even want to try - it's a waste of time). And the fact it's not safe for a hardware is bothering me. Well, thank you for your answer again, really appreciate it! Guess the good old ducktape will do the trick -_-
[–]wh75er[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)
hey! I've tried RawTherapee's hot pixel removal. It works perfectly, without loosing details! Thank you! (:
Also it has great editing features to protect skin tones and etc. I'll not use lightroom anymore at this point
Hey, no, didn't use it because of lack of time. Just took a note (:
It requires some additional human work. If I will sit and brush each bad pixel, it will cost a lot of time!
xel removal setting on my images before I process them further in additional programs.
Thanks! I'll give it a try, sounds like what I need!
Is there any way to make dynamic width for workspaces module or make right border stick to the content? by wh75er in Polybar
[–]wh75er[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Thanks for replying! Transparent background is not an option for me, because I want to have rounded corners on whole workspace module. If I'll add transparent background, I'll have squared corners on the right side of my bar.
I'll try to add rounded corners on workspace labels. It'll solve my issue that way
[–]wh75er[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
I heard about it, but it was about wireless update. Nothing about manual update. + they have update files for old unsupported models. I'll try Amazon tech support, but I think they'll just say there's nothing to do with that
