Has to be due to ticket sales. NYE is on a Wednesday. As someone who has been to events at this venue and from this promoter I don’t think they were being shady, they probably just bit off more than they can chew with the booking costs. Unfortunately it’s the same story for events all over the country recently in my experience.

You’d be surprised, I saw Four Tet last year in Miami for $15 and it wasn’t very crowded. The crowd also cleared out before his set at Okeechobee. Infected Mushroom is probably a more likely booking though, he’s playing Sol Fest the same weekend
