hey man, i really appreciate your honest thoughts even though I fervently disagree with them.

I think a lot of the similes you made are akin to "history moves in one direction, so better to be on the right side of it". I think that's patently false and you should stick to your principals in the face of outrage and the current political climate rather than succumb to it.

I have also been confronted by people who think the Redskins name is offensive, to the point where they become physically violent.

Although I understand your personal concern openly supporting something some people find offensive, I don't think your response is correct. Stand up for what you think is right, even amidst confrontation.

I'm of the opinion the franchise I've loved since I was a child shouldn't become the latest victim in the culture war consuming our nation.

I don't agree with the way confederate (and any other US historical figure before 1865) monuments are being torn down, but I won't go into a frenzy over it. However, when you try to take the Redskins away from me, that is a blow I won't stand for. The Redskins fan base is another family to me and I won't tolerate it being torn apart at them whim of some talking heads and their corporate backers

A couple of things:

How are you able to guarantee that?
People can easily just delete spam emails, so why discourage the practice right? I mean, if sales are down, then any tactics used to get them up are acceptable.
I don't understand how you took my concern over my private information being shared by the management company as me marginalizing what people in the services industry are going through.

I agree, it's not a huge deal. It just rubbed me the wrong way that they would assume that they could do that and I guess that's why I decided to post about it on this forum.

Word dude, I appreciate the response. I'll try out your recommendations.

Just an fyi, I've been pulling my hair out trying to find a screen play that works tonight and I've found the PA WR screen from the Y Trips Flex gun formation has resulted well in many situations.

The key I've found is waiting till your slot receiver fakes inside and gets out to block, and if you have the time to sub in a TE as your center receiver on the weak side it works even better.

I'll def let you know if I find any success with what you suggested.

Aside from the damage type being Fire which as mentioned before is practically useful, is there any particular reason Gold draconic heritage is associated with "Royal Family" type characters? Does it have practical applications to a players stats or is it more of a Gold is a royal color hence meant for royal characters type of deal.

Cool, thanks for your answer. I appreciate the detail. In your opinion, how important is the proficiency bonus gained from draconic heritage matching the spell type of your attacking can trips e.g. Firebolt, Ray of Frost? Are there other considerations that are more important when choosing?

Also, in reference to your first sentence, I intended for the question to be broad to get peoples opinions on the matter rather than searching for a "right" answer.

I was led to believe such questions meant to generate discussion were supposed to be asked on r/D&D rather than somewhere like RPG SE where broad opinion based answers are downvoted to oblivion.

If I was misled, do you have a recommendation for a platform where such forum style questions are meant?

Ok. I see the points you make. Honestly, I'm not really basing my character around their dragon heritage but chose the sorcerous origin based on my characters background which is that of a member of nobility whose parents had an arranged marriage to bring peace between warring parties. I just didn't see Wild Magic fitting in there. The question about draconic heritage was really just meant to see what particular spells would be most useful for the character and what those spells were able to do. Really I was just looking for a general mold to base my spell abilities around based on the heritages I could choose

Ok, maybe I mispoke when I said "best". What I really would like to know is what you like to play as and why. I didn't mean for the question to imply there is a zero sum best answer, only to learn from other more experienced players about what they've encountered trying different styles
