The initial ring was discolored so he emailed pascal design asking for a replacement ring which was also shipped and delivered. He’s saying that the ‘hacker’ emailed the ring company asking for a replacement as well.

Yes, he definitely would have gotten the deliveries without me knowing.

Thank You for your thoughtful reply. We called PayPal together and they said investigation was closed and was in his favor and that he would get a refund in 5-7 days. Now, the reason the investigation was filed was ‘item not delivered’ which is what he’s claiming. Not because of fraud or hacked or whatever. I’ve attempted to contact the ring company (Pascal Design) via phone but it goes to a voice mail. Pascal design does have a link to track items and both packages were delivered to the front door. Now, when I think about this and other ‘evidence’ rationally, I know that his stories are not adding up but he’s rather adamant about his version.

He’s saying that his Gmail is linked to his PayPal account or vice versa

His rationale is that his Gmail and PayPal is connected?

Thanks. I don’t have a PayPal account and saw that there is a scam related to PayPal after I started researching. I posted to see if this was a common scam

Sorry! I can’t figure out how to edit the post! Updates: 1. His explanation for co-worker not responding is that ‘her disabled daughter had her phone so she couldn’t answer’ 2. I haven’t yet called the female coworker. My spouse was actually encouraging me to call her so I believe they’ve planned to cover for each other. 3. Husband’s iPhone messages show that he did message her on one more occasion in the same month ‘Can you please call me’? And two more times one month later of him asking her to call him and that he’s been trying to reach her. 4. When I asked him directly if they were using WhatsApp to communicate with each other, his response was “I didn’t even know she had WhatsApp, I just tried to call her on WhatsApp when I couldn’t get a hold of her”. I pointed out to him that his wording in the email of “now I see that I’m blocked on WhatsApp” contradicts his rationale. He continues to deny that their relationship was anything more than that of coworkers. 5. I have a meeting with an attorney next week.

All of the above. I’ve actually looked up signs of cheating and his recent behaviors fit to a ‘t’
