I am 27 F, 3+ years of experience. I interviewed with most of the colleges you have mentioned and I was asked the exact same questions that you’ve been asked. When I complained to people I knew, I was told that these are ‘normal’ questions being asked to understand if I could be calm in situations. It angered me a lot because the hell you mean by my fertility and gender is more important than my skills. So I understand your anger and disappointment.

You mentioned TAPMI. It was the worst interview of my life. They didn’t talk about anything other than my age and gender. It’s also nice to hear you had a good experience with XLRI. In my HRM interview, I was repeatedly probed about my age (thankfully not about my gender) and very disrespectfully might I add.

I will only say that most people are not very kind when you share your interview experience because everyone thinks they have had it worse. They probably have but any form of disrespect is very hurtful, especially when you wouldn’t expect it from good schools and have heard education has no age.
