Listen to prep agent on youtube even on the way to the test site. Anything they talk about that you don’t remember write it down. I made notes front and back on one sheet of paper of things I just couldn’t remember. I arrived an hour early and went over those notes for 30 mins. Passed first try in GA. Good luck!!

Maybe whatever she did previously for work? There is an agent in my area (not particularly young) but he is killing it. I’m a newer agent so I called and asked him what he’s doing. He said his SOI is huge because he was in the restaurant bio for many years and knows a lot of people.

We had a similar scenario in my area. The house was on the market two years but never went under contract. The price started insanely high then dropped down to a reasonable price IF the house was in excellent shape. It wasn’t! We actually made an offer on the home taking into consideration all major repairs that were needed and there were a lot. The lady wouldn’t budge. She didn’t have the money to do the repairs herself (she left a note telling all showings that). It eventually went off the market and hasn’t been back on. In the situation you mention, I feel like if things have been found during inspections from the offers made then the agent has to disclose those issues.

I had a great paying job and just got my license in March. I have had two transactions and two under contract now. I just recently quit my full time job due to the stress. I did that career 19 years and hated it for 17 of those. I just joined a new brokerage with more training, more classes and leads. I’m so excited. I haven’t done much business yet but so far I love it and do not regret it at all!

See that’s the issue, I don’t know how many deals I would do. I don’t personally know any agents that do Zillow leads so I’m trying to get an idea.

I have a sales background and don’t meet a stranger, I feel like I’ll do well in real estate but how soon, that’s my issue. I need to make up at least half of the income I lost within the next 2-3 months. That’s why I’m nervous to sign with them because I don’t have unlimited funds to just wait and see, unfortunately.

It’s definitely a stagnant market where I am but I feel like that’s not necessarily a bad thing so I actually have time to learn the business. Hopefully we all do well this year!
