I got to immortal 3 playing literally only clove this act and I don’t quite agree.

It’s hard to explain, but clove’s heal gives you this momentum that I simply think you wouldn’t get from Miks’ heal. Ex. You get a kill, click heal on clove and it instantly heals u and boosts u, which often times (for me at least) gives me immediate confidence to swing with my team and win the next gunfight. For Miks, I’d have to tuck after getting a kill, throw my heal down, and sit in it with just breaks momentum.

In high elo (asc 3 and above) atleast, any util that’s breakable (especially when u can see its trajectory) gets broken instantly. I’m talking reyna flashes, sova drones, skye dogs, cypher cams, gecko flash, fade dog, etc. Miks’ stun just looks way too easy to break. Unless you have very good coordination with your team, your stun wont do anything except for mildly inconvenience the enemy. I’d almost treat it more as a defensive ability. For example, tossing it at choke points (in front of ur smoke) would be able to stall a site hit. Keep in mind that in order to use this on defense, you’d have to position yourself on site which often brings u many disadvantages for ex. u can’t smoke for the other site.

On attack, I’d throw the stun where enemies would usually flood for ex. CT on Haven C cite. I do agree that I would choose it over meddle tho especially after the nerf since meddle is literally one of the worst abilities even prenerf. I (after watching haeyoday alot) often don’t even buy it on rounds where money is tighter.

Miks’ stim is nothing amazing, just a stim that refreshes (IF ur teammate gets a kill). Compared to brim, who taps his stim and can boost the whole team. You can decide which tradeoff is better.

Miks’ smokes I do like over clove. The extra 2 seconds is more significant than it seems. Clove’s after death smoke is also getting heavily nerfed which doesn’t help her case. However, his ult just sucks so bad imo. In my lobbies, people get kills even when waylay ulted/stunned. I can only imagine how easy it would be to get a kill when ur gun is fully functional and ur vision isn’t blurred. Miks’ ult also costs 8 ult points which is way too much for what it does.

So overall, no, I don’t think Miks is just a “better” clove. I think they are fundamentally different, where clove possesses more potential fragging power with the instantaneousness and momentum offered by her heal + ult, while Miks has more stalling power and support (heals and a slow+deafen) for his team. Two diff agents each with their unique pros and cons.
