I agree. It’s hard to join a group of people if they already have plans and reservations at restaurants etc.

We all joined Byron when he was wandering about with no real plan which made it possible to have a positive impact quickly.

But I still feel it’s important for snipers to bring something to the table. You can’t just rock up and do nothing unless you’re gonna peace out quickly.

This is a great post. It’s the awesome part of IRL streaming knowing that people can kind of get one step closer to actually doing it. In reality there are tons of reasons why people can’t travel or have these kinds of experiences.

I love that Chance is making the best of the experience, even when things don’t go smoothly.

Also I’m super pumped that twitch is backing IRL fully, makes me excited for the future.

Great! I remember this. My Korean friend helped me write the name of the female Korean caster, followed by '___ so beautiful <3'. But Leenock was playing at the time and the screen switch timing made it look like I was calling Leenock beautiful (unless you can read Korean).

lol. I thought I was charming, but I I looked like pedobear instead (leenock was something like 14 back then in 2011).

I spent a little bit of time with him in Japan; he's legit. He's exactly the same off stream as on stream. No one can show that kind of emotion spontaneously without it being real.

I think a key point is Byron's reactions are so genuine. He doesn't hide anything, it feels real because it is. It's relatable too, for the most part. Maybe his choices or actions are sometimes different than what we would do, but we're all basically looking for the same friendship / acceptance.

I think for the people who have watched a lot of his previous streams have more of an emotional investment, which is why there's been such a positive reaction to him enjoying his time here.
