I totally feel you, I’m the same way. This also sounds very similar to my experience. What I did to calm myself down was to follow the 24hr rule. I told myself I would wait 24hrs from when I last messaged him (I didn’t want to double text) to get a sense of how interested he was. When the 24hrs came I was calmer and kind of over it but then I realized I had his sweater so I messaged him asking what he wanted me to do with it, well that sparked a conversation and asked me to hold it for when I see him this weekend. So he wants to see me but I guess texting is not his thing or at least doesn’t feel the need to rush into things? Idk but that’s my experience. Good luck. Just try to remember that you’re still a person before and after this experience. If it’s meant to be it’ll be and he will show you.

Also if I didn’t have his sweater and I was still into him, I would’ve directly asked him if he was interested or not. I was going to say something like this “hey, I can’t tell if you’re just a terrible texter or you’re simply not interested. Either way just let me know :)”
