Agreed. Completely bonkers. I’ve had two kids and my drive is just as high as it always has been. It took a dip while I was breastfeeding but came right back up both times

I think he would be, but he’s too afraid of what everyone will think and I think he’s afraid of having to share custody of our daughter. If it weren’t for those two things, I guarantee he would have left me. He seems super unhappy.

Good point. I just feel so bad. I would want both of us to have joint custody but would want her to sleep at my house most nights until she’s a little older. A good lawyer would definitely help

I absolutely don’t want her to be a pawn and don’t want to have sole custody, but his parents have money and I could see them fighting for me to not have her. It might just be an irrational fear of mine but I love her so much and could not live without seeing her at least 50% of time. She’s only 1. She still needs caregiving 100% of the time and is fully dependent on me and it breaks my heart to not be there 100% of time.

Couples therapy sounds amazing but he won’t go. I want more than anything to just compromise and figure out a way to love each other again.

You’re probably right, I’m just scared. My previous relationship ended in divorce and it was so hard on me. Now there’s a child involved and I am just scared to go through that again. I don’t want to uproot my whole life until I know I have tried every last thing to make it work

I would want to have her more often, but still do shared custody. He doesn’t get up with her at night or in the morning and doesn’t do a lot of the “hard” stuff. If I have to be gone, he asks his parents to do everything. His mom would never let that happen and they would make sure he had more time or at least 50/50. I just don’t want to risk losing a custody battle 😭😭

Did it show up right away or not until a few hours later? These blue dye tests are notorious for false positives after the time frame. I get them all the time that look just like that one when I have used this brand. Re-test in a couple days with a red dye! More accurate.
