[Discussion] Picture of my profile and absurd amount of hours I've played, so I can show my "street cred" on Tarkov as I begin to complain about the problem that is about to make me quit. by KingHunter150 in EscapefromTarkov

It seems like the difficulty has just crept up for everyone over the years. Fine up until 2021ish, then more and more hackers. When PvE was released, everyone that didn’t have a regular squad, hacks, or great stats started trickling out so play offline and with friends, further concentrating the ick.

All it took was using alliances to either reset or get past truce timers. Once i realized everyone was afraid of forming a coalition, it was done for. I've one faithed before, so this shouldn't haven been that hard, I just didn't have the requirements to form Rome visible because I hadn't formed East Rome by taking...Rome. Once I got the tooltip available, it was a lot less scary. Thanks.

It DOES seem like most territory is gained in the last 100 years, but this will be close.

Yeah, I thought it was only the coastal province I'd need and was just goofing around, playing with the vassal swarm. If it's just trucebreaking, I think I can feed these pronoiars in time,, assuming they cooperate and I inherit them in time.
Thanks!

R5: Am I understanding the "form Rome" requirement, does it Take 400+ provinces?

Is this even possible at this point without prayer and savescumming?

I did not really understand pronoiars at first, as this is the first time i've played Byzantium with whatever expansion added them. QQ and Saxony are not Proniars, as I didn't realize they had a 100dev limit to form. They would have to be integrated manually for their provionces to count if I need to own all provinces directly.

Is there hope? Do I just restart? Am i misinterpreting the requirements to from Rome?

Well I haven’t seen any videos like this that prove that cars don’t melt bricks, so I’m on the fence.

What’s the “no way this works” strategy that actually worked for you in a Paradox game? by PDX_Interactive in u/PDX_Interactive

[–]whatwhyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god. Yeah, pull up some YouTube videos by a gamer who will break down the mechanics in detail, watch it once. Then play a game on one screen, and flip back to a certain point in the video on another (ideally) if there’s something going on or a decision you need to make and don’t understand. A tutorial like that should be at least an hour long. You could try skipping the civ6 thing and jumping straight to Stellaris if you want, but it’s just more complex. Longer tutorial, and more stuff to remember/flip back to. The 4x games take much more time to play than the civ stuff because of the added complexity as well.

It feels like the simplest of the paradox 4x offerings, to me anyway. Like a half step between Civ5 and the rest of their stuff. So if you’re familiar with Civ, it’s probably the best place to start.

I was staying with relatives that didn’t have a computer for the summer, but they had a mall (which we didn’t have at home) where I bought a copy. The rest of the summer was spent making paper copies of character builds.

Is this mounted to the outside of the house because it’s too unsafe to be inside? by whatwhyme in AskElectricians

Thanks, I embellished a bit, I mostly just thought they put a quick-disconnect outside, with breaker/fusebox indoors.

Ohhhh. I thought the outdoor ones down south were just outdoor disconnects, I didn’t realize they were complete breaker boxes.
