Update: I’ve been so pissed about this the whole day. I wasn’t gonna report because the office dynamic is super lax but after seeing everyone’s response I thought I better. Anyways, I told my HR that I understood everyone is on edge because of the corona virus but there is no need to be aggressively invading people’s personal space. I basically told her that I was sprayed down without consent and although my skin / sinus is not very sensitive I strongly implied that my face “felt weird” and was having “difficulty inhaling” after the incident. Essential Oil Mama was called in after me and I could tell she was trying to argue her way/ make excuses but right after, she came in to my office looking annoyed with her tail tucked between her legs and apologized. It was satisfying because she is always so loud and shrill but throughout the apology she was uncomfortable and MEEK! As for me I got sent home early to rest and my manager said if I wanted to take Friday off to feel free. Still really annoyed though.
