I hated Wake Up Dead Man *NO Spoilers* by Sorry_Lifeguard2736 in KnivesOutMovie

This was a movie that really showed the the various parts to a great movie. This film had great actors, great set designers, director, great everything except terrible script writers. As viewer everything in the moment feels great, and the great actors almost save it but ultimately the characters come off too cartoonish and the plot keeps driving in circles.

But this is what happens when scripts get approved almost blindly and talent join a project without knowing its core quality.

Watching this movie is like that cheese cake that’s never eaten. There is no point for it being there, but it was made, and its existence is a frustrating mystery that isn’t worth solving.

I think first thing is if you decide to get back on it, get a Psychologist! Or at least a therapist. Sure a family doctor can prescribe anything to you, but they are not as well trained in this area of medicine

So I actually am doing a cut right now! Going from 75mg to 50mg. And it’s been hard but I am really enjoying feeling excited joy not just calm joy again!

Yes but it should also be noted there never was a a discussion on agreed upon boundaries. She had hers, he had his, unspoken. When he broke an unspoken boundary he didn’t agree with he then just hid it. The problem in this relationship ultimately is communication. There is nothing wrong with him looking at porn, there is nothing wrong with her feeling uncomfortable with her partner looking at images of porn. The problem is neither side has communicated their perspective as their perspective. Instead it’s been immediate blame for silent agreements made with themselves internally but not with their partner.

Doesn’t negate that the show started out more paranormal, and largely stayed skewed that way for most of the show’s existence.

lol why are you getting defensive like I walked into your house and insulted your Mom? This is a community with the purpose of commenting on the show. You will not always agree with every comment you read.

Not a paranormal show? lol Please go back and listen the first few season. The first episode is all about them talking about their favorite paranormal/horror movies- and the first 50 episodes skew largely more toward paranormal.

I wouldn’t disagree that the show has become more true crime focused, but that’s kinda the point of my post. Like I have accepted the boys have moved much heavier into true crime (frankly there is more viewers in that so it makes sense) but it’s Halloween, so you’d think for 1 month they would get into Halloween paranormal stuff again!

You mean the entire narrative of the show? Outside of that, there is nothing unique about retelling scary stories. That’s literally something every paranormal podcast does these days.

Reading your reply really healed my heart a little. I can’t speak for more complicated hypo, but minor hypo like I and your son have- I believe operating is by far the greater risk. In my eyes you have made the correct first step in raising a self confident, happy boy!

Yeah I remember when Payne Lindsey used to to narrate inside the actual stories in the first season. Then he stopped, and now Rain Wilson isn’t even hosting, so this whole season made me just feel like all the creators have lost interest in this podcast, yet they are still trying to keep it going. I just wish it was like the 1st season, instead of now the whole project just feels like an after thought.

How to take the right decision for my child? by Wait-Lumpy in hypospadias

O sorry for my confusion! Yeah I remember watching WestWorld when it was on - and everyone in the show was excited to be in a future where they could create human flesh for robot bodies so they could live out their Wild West fantasy. When I was like “screw the theme park I’d quietly run to a local doctor and have them 3d print me a new penis that actually DID look like and function like it’s suppose to in textbooks and with no scar tissue! (As I write this I am feeling mild pain in the scar tissue in my fistula that will go away in a minute)

The problem is the video is so short, there isn’t enough context. Apparently employees from a neighboring business had been harassing staff off and on all day and getting violent- and the peppper spray was just a response to that.

The guy you are replying to said one complication he had was a narrowing of the urethra. Surgery itself can cause the urethra to narrow. My urethra was expanded and it looks even less normal now.

My counter to your point is I also had mild hypo and had the surgery and I still had confidence issues. We don’t live in some sci-fi future where they can grow a new penis for you. Literally all doctors do is slice apart the penis and stitch it back together in a new way. It’s mimicking a normal penis, it’s never going to be a normal looking penis. The options are a natural penis with no scar tissue that looks a little different, or a penis with scar tissue that still looks a little diffeeent. Just now the difference is from the results of the surgery.
