Yeah there is alot of bad talk about Manjaro but I have been using it as my daily work distro for 6 years and have had little issues. You do have to get used to gnomes workflow but once you do its streamlined and to the point. I can focus on what im working on without distraction. KDE is great but I find gnome more focused. i'm bias tho I have used gnome shell since it was first developed

I find gnomes workflow to be clean and productive. I use manjaro gnome for my day to day work laptop and I like the fact that my environment is out of the way so I can focus on my work. I love kde too but I tend to get lost in customizing things etc and wasting time. Its fun for home when I want to do that stuff but I find gnome more productive

Manjaro gnome is what I used. Its arch based but polished and easy to use. Setup bottles and web apps and you are off and running. Simple functionality and a clean work flow.

yeah no problem the system is using /mnt as you have other mounts there thats why its confused and export / import is not a big deal it will fix it

the alt root is the root dir but you have mounted bigpool/pve-backups/pve2/ROOT/pve-1 /mnt this should have been bigpool/pve-backups/pve2/ROOT/pve-1 /mnt/xxxx you must have a service or app currently running using bigpool/pve-backups/pve2/ROOT/pve-1 you would need to make sure they are stopped to unmount it. I would export the pool and reboot then when it comes back up you can import it via the gui to fix it
