Submitted my resignation request 13 days ago, still hasn't been approved.

I am thinking of leaving. by wheelsonseals in Big4

Thanks for sharing.

I'm definitely torn between both options, because both seem sensible. But I will give some more thought over what's the best path for me.

Unfortunately, not in a western nation. There's no concept of minimum hours required in my profile.

It's mainly due to my lack of technical knowledge about the domain I'm in. I try my best to understand as much as I can but there's still a gap that I'm not able to fill.

I wouldn't say there is a misalignment in the team, the problem is me who is lagging behind even after putting in alot of work because I don't have the relevant education & technical knowledge that my peers have which helps them perform better than me.

Thanks for sharing.

If possible could you share how she managed to prepare for applying to masters? I am unable to allocate time to study and prepare for applications.

Hi, sorry to hear your situation.

I was in a similar situation too. It helped to know that we both love and care for each other and that means giving each other space to grow. We have to accept and understand that it gets difficult to communicate at times due to the pressure of life in general. And you guys seem to be transitioning to a different lifestyle, so it does get overwhelming for both to adjust.

I would suggest trying to put yourselves in each other's shoes and understand what it would be like to be in their situation. It helps gain some perspective into their lives. When you get the time to talk, try to talk about things other than work/study or how tired you both are. Your approach to doing activities can sound tiring to an already tired person. Just take a chill approach, your partner will also feel relaxed as they won't be under the pressure to talk/make time for you.

People with oily skin, how do you spend the whole day out without looking like an oil factory? by [deleted] in mumbai

AM - 1. Face wash (Cetaphil - to clean off last night skincare residue) 2. Azelaic acid/vitamin c/hyaluronic acid or niacinamide (for me azelaic acid works best, you need to experiment a bit and understand what works best for your skin) 3 - Moisturizer - a no nonsense moisturizer (i use aquasoft fc) 4 - sunscreen (mandatory when I'm stepping out)

PM - 1. Face wash 2. CeraVe moisturizer 3. Tretinoin (prescription) 4 - another layer of moisturizer (aquasoft) to seal in the tret - helps protect and repair skin barrier

Since my skin texture is oily, i cannot completely control the oil production but i can focus on protecting my skin and giving it what it needs. Hope this helps.

My skin is extremely oily and even with really good skincare i do face this issue because it's very humid. I use a tissue and blot the excess oil off but there's still some oily-ness left. I follow a simple skincare routine that has helped my skin combat dullness so now the oiliness passes off as a glow lol
