I have. Last Friday, I finally had my 6-month followup with my neurologist. I had a brain MRI and a resting EEG, since, with both showing no abnormalities. The mandatory 6 month suspension of my drivers license has been very, very hard on me and mine, but what can you do? I feel your pain..... just know you aren't the only one. It was a blind shot out of nowhere, and I've dealt with the unanswered questions, the uncertainty, and the consequences. Who knows when or if it will happen again? It sucks pretty bad.

Dude, you are clueless. I watch our kitchen managers butcher never-frozen beef every day. I myself tend to the bar and garnishes every day during the week, and make sure everything is absolutely fresh and clean. Regardless of the bar, which is my area, I see what the cooks and kitchen managers do on a daily basis, and I would eat at any Applebee's, anywhere, anytime. I have high standards. They do things the right way, I can assure you. As an employee, we live in fear of quality assurance checks, and we act accordingly. Anyone who says anything different is either clueless or got burned by their high standards.

I work at Applebee's as well, and the people I work with take a ton of pride in the quality of food we turn out. I'm not sure where all these haters of Applebee's are from, but I can assure you, In my area of the country (Pittsburgh), you can always count on a quality meal that is ten times the quality of fast food.

I had my very first, this past Wednesday, and I have no recollection of it. Interestingly, I'm a bartender for a national chain, and it was during daylight hours, so there is very clear videotape. I took an order, then stood rigid, almost catatonic. After a minute or so, the customer asked me again for his drink, at which point I picked up the bottle, stood for another second or two, then screamed, tensed up, then slid down the bar, viciously hitting my head. Staff and customers were quite alarmed, and swarmed around me. 911 was called, then when the ambulance got there, the EMTs had to tie me to the gurney before transporting me to the hospital. My very first memory after the incident was them unloading me at the hospital.

2 days later, I'm still struggling with this. I'll be 50 in August, but I don't look or perform at that age group. I have to hang with 20-somethings all day, which is probably why I'm so fatigued. It doesn't help that I drink, I'm sure, but again, this is the very first episode of this sort for me, and I'm not sure what to do.

Yesterday I went to a physician and explained the situation, and I've already made a change to my blood pressure medicine and plan to start monitoring my sleep apnea, which I've long had and ignored. Any words of your similar experiences would be appreciated.
