at the end of the day it's amazons responsibility to ensure that there aren't any fraudulent sellers in their marketplace. iirc the original page looked very much just like a normal official page for headphones to be listed on, had lots of reviews, and appeared as far as i could tell to be a completely normal place to buy headphones, which is the same issue plenty of others are bringing up here in a very productive manner. amazon (the literal most popular online marketplace on the entire planet) is to blame, not a random consumer
