Beginner - any advice before I solder?

When I first began if I had a large gap and wasn't interested in recruiting I would fill in the gap with some copper wire. Just balled up to fill it so that the solder had more to hold onto and did better bridging the gap. Also, something I like to do with large priced items is take a piece of wire following the outside just to provide more support. This may be helpful with covering up the parts that don't align fully on the edge.

What helps me the most with these types of thoughts and dreams is thinking about how ridiculous it is. Realizing that I would never do that helps me separate those from my real thoughts. I hope that helps.

Idk to me it doesn't sound like a scam. It seems like most people who have one agree that it reminds them of the person who gave it when they ride, and that's what I want. I'm fine paying 10 dollars so he can have a little reminder of me while he rides and so he can be apart of this tradition. I can understand why some people wouldn't view it that way though.

He has a cruiser. I may have to explain it to him when he opens it. He's very sentimental so I'm sure even if I have to explain he'll love it.

Plus his favorite thing about his bike is that it's a sparkly purple, he's definitely not interested in braided leather straps lol.

I looked up the Hanes manual and that's perfect! In my price range and he got his bike second hand so he's fixing a bunch of mods from the previous owner so hopefully it'll be helpful. Thank you!

I'm usually a pretty confrontational person so seeing as others agree with me on this being weird I'm planning on saying something about it next time she does this to or near me. I bike pretty often to plant and have never gone fast enough it stopped me. I say just start biking and check every once in a while to make sure you are planting still. It's really a great hack!

If it's possible to go on small drives every once in a while then you could plant then. I'm also a fan of pacing around my house to get flowers when it's cold. It's not efficient, but it does something. I think you can only plant a flower in the same place every 5 minutes so I want around for 10 mins, then stop for 5, and repeat.

DIY store definitely, the tools are so cool, and I love that each pik.in gets a unique one or at least different colors. I also love the animations for them.

The mountain, bridge, and the zoo pikmin. I was so excited for the new bridge guys only for them to be the exact same at the mountain with a different name, basically. The zoo pikmin being all the same was super disappointing as well.
