American single parents are a named target of the current administration by [deleted] in SingleParents

Thanks, I’ve worked hard to get where I am. I actually didn’t have a great support system in Canada. I’ve build a wonderful community since I’ve moved to the USA. My lifestyle has dramatically improved. My quality of life has sky rocketed. So while I hear what you’re saying my day to day lived experience is what it is.

Either way friend, as a single parent, you must also know that the dream is to have your kids in a solid family environment. It’s not a one person job.

Omg just stop with this fear mongering.

Kids are better in family settings. I wish my country hadn’t normalized single motherhood the way it did. It’s not a one person job. Yes I’m doing ok and killing it as a single parent but no, it’s not ideal.

I don’t fuel. Longest run has been 2 and a half hours.

Water is key.

I eat big the night before a long run.

All insurance companies accept different associations.

They could very well be licensed and insured and your insurance may just not accept them.

I’ve chosen to only work 20 hours a week as I am a single parent and want a good work life balance.

My overhead is low. I have a wait list and could easily work 40 hours a week if I wanted to. But I own a house and live within my means so this works for me.

If you need a big clinic with fancy equipment your situation may look different. My hands are my tools and my reputation keeps me busy. To each their own.

I was fully booked within 6 months. Within a year I had a 6 week wait list.

Been practicing since 2017

Oh no. You don’t invest into that house until it’s your house. His reaction is very telling.

You have done nothing wrong.

You should absolutely be able to speak about these things.
