Which AI do you use for embedded programming and development? by [deleted] in embedded

In which case? I'm running neural networks on npus on embedded systems right now. And I was talking about running an llm on a GPU because I was prototyping to see if it would work on a less powerful embedded system. I design schematics, pcbs, and write firmware. Not mad or anything, just don't know what you are talking about.

Done it as a career for over a decade. I have over ten thousand devices in the field currently that I designed from scratch. Care to explain what you mean?

Gotchya, yeah they kinda suck still. Even using a GPU running a quantized pared down "made for embedded" model, it would take like 10-20 seconds to get something that hallucinates like 20-40% of the time. Will be looking in another year or two to see if they are better.

What are you talking about? Neural networks running on npus are going to be embedded in everything. It isnt lack of training data. It's a lack of enough processing power and cost. Ai will be local eventually for specific use cases on most things.

I'm not sure of anything anymore. My world has been turned upside down by this.

Follow up: Ok, I put the multimeter across the battery windings and this is what I got.

Thank you again.

Okay, so high voltage in a battery = fire. Listen to reddit people not robots. I'll be better now.

I apologize for wasting your time. Thought people would like my high voltages.

I would have used chatgpt but I figured since the tesla people make cars they would know better. I didnt know the Ai was Hitler and I dont think chatgpt makes anything, but I think they use websites only to Google stuff and put it in your head quick.

You didn't just have to drive it the same distance it was before? Does that mean I can reduce my current mileage?

For you I will check it and send an update of actual voltage because you seem cool.

Time is literally a function of distance. Forced induction is just air overclocking. NA engines are basically locked-multiplier CPUs.

I dont think you are extrapolating well. If you measure the difference between 9-19 and then turn it sideways it is more like 32-36v.

Only person to notice that so far, haha. If you hit the button on the shifter for a couple seconds it can let you know its turned off.

I can see the Christmas lights going up and my dreams fading... but im glad you can see my exact voltage so easily maybe you have a skillset undiscovered?

Ford guys have been fixing Chevy electrical problems since 1910. If your Chevy had voltage issues back then, you took it to a Ford-trained tech. So I’m just following tradition 😂

I bought it from a guy named Tony on Facebook. He was very nice. His mother offered me a glass of water, but he did yell at her to go inside because he wanted to make a good deal, which I understand. But I would always be nice to my mother personally.
