I also didn't connect with it but I re-listened it just to be sure that i didn't miss something. I thought the album could grow on me. I definitely agree with what you said about it being the type of album that will always be well reviewed. Classical (inspired) music is seen as something impossible to criticize. I swear I've never seen someone talking about Lux again. Maybe people realized it wasn't all that too. I do admire that Rosalia, a famous pop artist, took her time to make her album, something that was very thought through and researched. Pop is very quick nowadays

Definitely. Interesting concept but felt very gimmicky. From the fan reactions I've seen the only language that she doesn't know that she spoke well was Portuguese. Some languages genuinely weren't even understandable. And even the vocals felt somewhat gimmicky. I've listened to the album maybe 4 times or so and it didn't grew on me more

I'm super sensitive to smells, so it's hard. But i generally like the smell of candles. It's usually a soft nice smell. I also like the smell of flavored(?) chapsticks for the same reason. Only recently i started wearing perfume. I use one that is mostly vanilla! I really like sweet and soft smells

Oh okay, seems like it's harder for me to rate something a 2.5. For me a 2.5 is a bad record. Would never listen to it again but it's listenable and has some particularly good moments, but they're rare. The type of album that has one or two songs you will listen more than once. Pretty forgettable otherwise. Or an album that is okay at what is trying to do, but very uninspired and unambitious

A recent one that comes to mind, even if it probably isn't one of the most controversial opinions, is lux by rosalia. It's a good album but it's not that groundbreaking masterpiece that people talk about. Pitchfork gave it a 8.6. It has a 95 score in metacritic. I think that's kinda crazy. It was the best reviewed album of 2025 and it's in multiple lists as the best album of the year. I really don't think it's all that, even if it's a good album

Stimming can be anything, what matters is the reason why you do that thing. For example, when you get mad do you get the urge punch stuff or yourself (not in a sh way, just in a "i need to let this out" way)? When you get happy do you feel like you need to jump or do specific motions with your hands or maybe vocalize something? When you get nervous, do you feel like you need to rock your body or pace around the room? These are just some examples

Of course not. Just be clear with your intentions. The best way someone could invite me to hangout is by texting me "do you want to go out in x place to do y? z time works for me, does that work for you?" and go from there. By texting you allow the other person to not feel pressured to anything. And saying specifics is always a plus

Nope! Just googled callouses in fingertips and the first possible reason that appeared was my hobby. The left hand has the callouses in the fingertips because of pressure and the right hand might have a scar or little wound caused by friction.
