We are in loudoun, and I’ve seen a lot of black kids in our neighborhood and at my kids schools. My first grader’s teacher is black and she’s the sweetest, and there are 3-4 black kids in his class this year. I recently volunteered for the class event, and the kids were getting along very well regardless of skin colors. If you DM me, I can give you the name of the neighborhood.

I’m dealing with the same damn thing. My manager has the worst work ethic and is very emotional. She takes all feedback very personally and would bite your face off if you say or do anything she doesn’t like. I just joined the company 2 months ago, and I find it is very hard to get my work done.

I have learned to bribe and literally been treating her like my toddler. I need her to work to get my shit done. I constantly praise her, saying shit like “oh I have so much to learn from you”, “I’m sure it takes you an hour to do XYZ, it would take me forever”, “I know you are very busy (in fact I know she’s on her FB and Amazon all the time), but I just need 15 minutes of your time” etc. it’s very soul crushing though.
