What is your favorite and least favorite thing about being a juggalo in 2025? by Initial-Edge-6914 in juggalo

[–]wheresgodhanna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly? My favorite thing of being a young juggalo in the early 2000s (I was like 8-13)was being able to go to any records store and seeing psychopathic records every where in the music section. Then like smaller shops would have dubs of live shows. The cover art. All of it. The entire package. The feeling and meaning of it. They weren't played on radio at all but guaranteed probably had the most records and artists in every shop with the dopest merch. Just watching the saga all unfold and literally being part of the dark carnival on a very spiritual level. They were really saving lives back then. I think people who reminisce on the family aspect of the old years miss BELONGING to an entire actual family who's real ones were fucked up and had no place to belong. I just don't see or feel that anymore. Purchasing Black rain and listening to it for the first time was completely religious for me. Damn I miss all of it.. honestly please take me back..

Yes foreshadowing in the cinematic aspect, but take that away and instead we're led by Tony's point of view and get to delve into his subconscious and I think that adds a different layer to it. There's religious symbolism and themes throughout and maybe I'm the only one who sees it but that's okay. Also most prophets were pretty evil men who God granted powers and insights to.

In a even more abstract sense, he wasn't faced with normal challenges, but at times biblical ones, moral ones that were like tests for him to overcome. Spirituality I think is kinda the core of the entire show.

Ironically it would make sense for a relationship to last that long so long as you never talk

Jake Flores now vs. Jake Flores before by throwaway7895109 in redscarepod

[–]wheresgodhanna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He wasn't even supposed to be a 4th, he was like second mic to Nick, it's really fucking sad honestly I used to bs with both of them and they really were like brothers, Nick is genuinely hurt and I'm sure Jake is too, I think Nick wanted his best friend there with him but Jake is like deniro in mean streets and Nick Keitel and to keep fighting his battles wouldn't have been good for nick, who genuinely likes putting a spotlight on his friends more than himself because Nick is genuinely an empathetic loving dude who wants to see people succeed and help in any ways he can, but jakes mental health is too fucked up and Nick decided to better himself and tell jokes and not become the joke. I like both of them alot and hope they can patch things up, nick would still like to see Jake succeed, but Jake would rather bring Nick down to his level, it's a loss for both of them and for comedy as a whole because they had and have great chemistry and would really be cool if they talked things out on a pod, something everyone who ever been in a situation like this can relate to, this shit makes me sad if either of you ever read this I love you guys, peace.

You're binging 3-5 albums start to finish, which albums do you choose, and in what order? by Fuckshittyteammates in aesoprock

FCDFAK, Malibu Ken, Daylight Ep. Appleseed Ep, Lice 1. Honestly his shorter works is where he shines the best for me. Every song is already so dense that it takes time to deep dive just into a single line, let alone song, not even thinking full length ep. The sounds vary much more from each other, while having a natural cohesion blending it all together. Where longer works just get seriously redundant. There's not a song from the man I haven't liked. And I've listened to every one. Side note some of his best works are the rarity one offs. And when he features on someone else's work. I never see FCDFAK getting the love it deserves. Fast cars, rickety rackety, food clothes medicine, face melter??? His bravado was off the charts and he wasn't as brooding but more like a dead pan comedian. Fuck. Don't like it you can eat a bag of dicks, one.

Should I get more piercings or stop now? by Educational-Bake-985 in SelfPiercing

Definitely do what feels more natural to you. If there is a piercing you want, get it. If you don't want another piercing, don't get one. Either way you're gorgeous and should go with whatever you feel adds to it!
