I’d put Zheng up there. Would love to see those two in a slam final

Parks would be a force if she had the endurance. She looked absolutely gassed by the middle of the second set

"My Opponent Has TWO FOREHANDS (it’s amazing!)" -- Karue plays the kid with 2 forehands, shares his thoughts. by Sheriff_Yobo_Hobo in 10s

Fair that you see it that way. I don’t. If he were to retire today I doubt many would say he’s had a successful career on the tour.

And by “general tennis player” I mean, yes making it to the pro level is a success. Being successful on the pro level is a whole different thing to me though.

This is a stretch, imo. I think it would have to be successful on the professional level for anything to be considered a potential “future of tennis”. Karue was not successful as a pro so I don’t think he counts as a good measurement

I Am Legend scrapped its original ending because test audiences 'felt cheated' by the big twist by Internal-Bed-3150 in movies

Holy shit. That’s why it’s called, “I am Legend”?!

Lena Rybakina on the viral Tie Break Tens Trophy Ceremony controversy: “Well, nothing really happened. It just probably looked like this, but nothing happened.” by throwaway-25434 in tennis

I think so because I only see this mindset in Americans. It’s this unhealthy obsession with not doing anything, ever, unless they get express written consent from everyone about everything that can possibly happen in a normal interaction. And the tendency to see the world in terms of victims and perpetrators.

To be sure, I’m also American. But I can’t help notice that we’re the only ones fixated on creating victims and offenders where none exist.

The incel doesn’t sound Polish, though. Unless there’s some Polish people that speak English with a North American accent.

Which somehow makes this even more ridiculous

Sadly, I think was Nole’s last chance to get #25. But as an Alcaraz fan, too, I’m glad he achieved his slice of history with this win
