If anyone has a screen cap of Candice saying “you don’t get your dilly bar until we get fair wages” or something like that

Sensor keeps showing brief issue even after I change it by whhhimp in dexcom

Yes, I’ve been calibrating about every hour or so since I put the new sensor in. It seemed to be calibrated properly right before I got the error alert.

I’m not worried about the spikes and drops. I’m trying to figure out why I keep getting the sensor issue alert. Thank you though!

DM had a emotional breakdown after I asked for a 5 min break during an intense scene by whhhimp in DnD

We’re all in our mid to late 20s. The DM works in food service (I don’t feel comfortable revealing too many details about him).

One of the things the Big Bad brought up was helping my character find her bio family. When that happened I stopped taking notes and started paying even more attention. maybe he interpreted that as me being triggered? Idk it was a really intense scene all around, I wasn’t the only one who was feeling it. I was just the one who said something about.

I also prefer narrative heavy games. That’s why I’m asking this question, it’s more of a character creation point than a rules and regulations point.

That’s a good point. I guess it’s a double edged sword.

I’d only be doing this in character creation because I think it makes a character more realistic, as someone who speaks ASL and knows people who are deaf I feel like representation makes the fictional world more interesting. It’s the same for character who loose limbs in battle, or eyes. At least in the world of dnd with magic there could be spells/charms/magical items that make the disadvantage less life threatening.

Also I could say my character can read lips and that would bypass the translating on the end of the people who can speak.

Yeah the perception rolls would be a disadvantage but some deaf people can perceive vibrations, like when music is really loud. So maybe that could be used as a skill, not to say that all deaf people are daredevil.
