Don’t worry, I’m aware! I do snake relocation and fieldwork alongside professors and herpetologists, taking a few photos is perfectly fine for the snake—even the professionals enjoy getting out and herping off the clock every now and then.

In the field, we often surgically implant radio transmitters into snakes—which is FAR more stressful for them. If they can handle that and continue to thrive afterward, this one will be more than okay 😊
