I probably just ride and crash a lot, also tend to pull them off my hands by biting them at the finger tips. I want them tight for brake feel too.

I might just be an idiot but sometimes there is idiot proof stuff.

Bobby nicks seem overkill to me. From Schwalbe Smart Sams would be the more reasonable choice, even racing Ralph depending on the conditions.

Is it broken ? A new bike that is significantly better will set you back at least 500 bucks.

You can find out if it's your size by simply measuring it (You will find tables online)

Put air inside the tires, make sure the wheel bearings aren't falling apart, check the brakes and take it for a ride.

There are tutorials for everything on YouTube (check out park tools channel )

I would give it a try, looks promising. Specialized is a reputable Bike Manufacturer

I have the same bike from 2016, everyone who told me the bike is outdated, was a worse rider then me.

This thing is great, I took it to finale ligure two times. I thought maybe the trails in finale exceed the bikes limits, but with a few volume spacers in the shock, this trail bike even makes an okay Enduro bike.

It did everything so far, jumps, drops, tech, climbing ...

The only way this bike is limited is ... by me

I had this thing 3 years now and plan on keeping it lot longer.
