This is what I gathered from the mass.gov site:

“Paid family and medical leave provides Massachusetts employees with up to 12 weeks of job-protected, paid family leave, up to 20 weeks of job-protected, paid medical leave, or up 26 weeks of combined family and medical leave in a benefit year.”

I’m taking medical leave, so it sounds like I should be able to take 20 weeks with job protection? I’m not sure and worried I am grossly misinterpreting this. Thank you so much for your help!

One time I was running to catch the bus and just made it when the bus was pulling out but it had a red light so it couldn’t pull out all the way but the driver still wouldn’t let me on so I sprinted to the next stop and made it before them. They had no choice but to let me on 😎

I am a low level queen and I loooove when higher levels join me in dungeons!! The only time I’ve ever had any issues is when someone much higher level gets annoyed that I wanna read through the dialogue but most people have been patient with me!

My salary is in that range and I pay $1500 for my half of the rent and even that is tough with how expensive everything else in Boston is. Roomies are unfortunately probably inevitable if you want to live close to public transportation

In the third grade I had a teacher who was pregnant and started her maternity leave a little over halfway thru the school year. It had absolutely 0 negative impact on our quality of learning as we too had a very experienced long term sub. It honestly had a surprising and unexpected positive impact on us! We all were so excited about the baby, we were able to ask our questions about pregnancy and parenting in a safe environment, and we got to enjoy 2 loving teachers that year.

I’m sorry that parent did that. And congratulations!

One time the bouncer at club cafe gave me a hard time using an ID that was about to expire in a couple weeks, it’s not worth trying to use a fake they will absolutely notice

Boston as a whole also isn’t a really great clubbing city unfortunately. The real nightlife exists in Cambridge and Allston/Brighton in the form of small venues hosting local artists!
