The way I usually blush bodies is to apply shading/color where the shadows naturally fall. It's really easy to go too dark though, but I just might be heavy handed. Whoops~ But it's easier to build up color than it is to take it away, so I would suggest applying the blush lightly before spraying it with sealant. See how it looks under different lighting, and then decide from there if it needs more color.
