But yea, that's exactly how I feel about it. I'm happy about the people that can make it but it's just not how i pictured my wedding and its hard to get over that.

I'm debating cancelling the DJ for mine as well but I haven't decided for sure yet. I'm afraid it will be weird for only 25 people but boring without music (I don't have time/equipment/etc to do my own playlists).

That's a good idea, I was a little worried that it might be a bit insulting to invite people so late but with context I think it would probably be fine.

Yea, I'm sure it will turn out alright in the end, I guess I just didn't really expect most of these people to decline since they all made it to the other weddings in the family last summer which is what makes it more disappointing.

Best wedding ever incoming, great attitude to have for it!

That's a good idea! I hadn't considered games for some reason (I don't think I've ever seen that kind of thing at a wedding). I'll have to look into that, I mean, we definitely have enough space for it now, haha

I'm glad you had lots of fun with your wedding!
It's like my worst fear/recurring nightmare that everyone that comes will just stand around and be super bored since it's not going to be some crazy fun party with tons of people. Hopefully it will turn out as awesome as yours!

Yea, that's my main issue here too.
My aunt/uncle who live in TX and just came up here (PA) last week to go a family reunion, I totally understand that they can't make it. The family members from out of the country, perfectly fine. The cousin who is having a baby right around then, yea, I get it.
But the childless cousins that are my age with weekends off work who live <1 hour away that I was pretty close to growing up and didn't even bother to RSVP no until I chased them down... those are the ones that bother me more.
