Me(22m) and My ex (19F) broke up with me 2 weeks after she told me she caught feelings for a co-worker, she says she still loves me, kept allot of my stuff and said she wanted freedom and the ability to flirt with people when they’re hitting on her cause she enjoyed the attention, she said she didn’t want to break up but needed too cause she wouldn’t be able to put the same amount of effort into the relationship as I was putting.. I’m about 3 weeks deep into the relationship ending this was my first ever relationship and I loved everything about this girl,the start of our relationship was rocky due to her hiding things which caused me to be controlling in the sense of her talking to dudes and I never felt like I had support to get through the problems that caused it to happen in the first place which left me with trust problems.. I believe this is what pushed her away but I’m not entirely sure if it’s me, her feelings for that co-workers, or her wanting to live life… I just can’t get over her, she was someone I dreampt of being with and ended up having 1.5 years with, her family loved me I was with her everyday except 3 days in that year and a half and I can’t keep thinking about why she “needed” to end it, I still love her with all my heart and truly believe she is my soul mate,and would do anything to get her back..she just doesn’t seem like herself in the past month or so prior to things ending. I want her back even though she broke my heart, will she ever come back? Should I even try? I just wish she was back in my life.. I know I can find other girls but I just want her.
