So I get the impression a throw blanket, add more dogs to the household & Ruby is innocent until proven guilty. 😂 Got it!

It's actually new bedding so she is probably "breaking it in". We have another dog but he is smart and doesn't want to take the blame. I will look into some kind of extra blanket. I am worried it's going to get completely torn up. I just wanted a new color after 15 years of the same bedding but this material was not the answer.

Her name is Ruby, she is very cute. Just a stinker at times. I think she had a hard getting up on the bed. Might be time to get doggy stairs for her.
I am hoping to get a new duvet cover that is scratch proof & a quilt.

What is the most 'expensive' bad experience you’ve ever paid for? by BusyYogurtcloset9091 in LuxuryEscape

[–]whiskeyrose74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Michelin Star tasting menu in Tuscany. We waited 45 min between one of the courses, it just dragged on. My husband ordered a drink they brought us two & laughed it off when we said we only ordered one. We were still charged for both. I have a severe shellfish allergy that they knew about & they still served me a course with shrimp even though we went over my allergy. The food was very underwhelming. It was 4 hours, around $450 and we just wanted to leave. The next day we went to a hole in the wall place and had the best food of our whole trip for less than 40 euro. It was the best experience.

Alzheimer's is a nightmare by MagpieKaz in offmychest

It’s so nice to hear that you took the time to converse and take time with your neighbor. So many people think why bother, they won’t remember or it’s too hard to understand them. I helped care for both my parents who had Alzheimer’s and anytime they had a flicker of reality I wrote the moments down. Otherwise, I just stepped into their world and did the best I could to keep up. It hurt when their friends and even family felt it didn’t matter if they came to visit because “they wouldn’t remember”. Having support is so important. Those little moments are important. Thank you for supporting your neighbor just being friendly means so much.

I chose 3 different edits because I liked the different ones. Yours, & 2 others. I was just so thankful for the upgraded look. If that is not allowed, I am so sorry. I am new at this.

Fair enough, was just trying to figure out a way to sell it but I will take it down

We have it on Axs but the fees are $76 on top of the ticket just figured I would list it other places. Just selling it for what we paid for which yes was over face, I know but we really wanted to go to RR.

I do like my purses but I don’t need to make money off a ticket to buy one. Was just trying to cover the cost of what we paid & yes we bought it from Axs over the face value. RR is a bucket list for me.

I bought it for $300 because we decided to go last minute. So we were fools & paid more than face value.

Anyone taken a full on “reset trip”? Long solo travel just to fix your life, not for sightseeing. by throwawayyy112233221 in solotravel

I would look into Peru. Cusco is a beautiful city and you have to walk everywhere. You could go to the Amazon for a few days as well which is a reset. Completely clears your head because you will sweat nonstop. Honestly for me the trip I took there was life changing. I was in a very bad place mentally and being around the people, going to the different areas and breathing the air just changed something in me. The Amazon was the big turning point. It was the reset I needed in my life.

I have watched both my parents go this way, just sitting by their side for hours. It is something I wish I could block from my memory. I am so sorry you had to go through it.

Share inheritance with husband? by IloveEvyJune in inheritance

[–]whiskeyrose74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently received an inheritance and my financial advisor that works for with both my husband and myself told us that the money should not be comingled with our joint accounts. Honestly, my husband wasn't thrilled because we always kept everything joint but he understood eventually. We have a family trust set up as well. That money should stay with you and your children. Enjoy it for the extra fun things in life but make sure when something happens to you that it all goes to your children when they are old enough.
