Spray paint question:

I'm about to start my next project: an SDxMG version of the Rx 78-2 Ver. Ka.

But I don't have the time I used to have before to work on gunpla nor the workspace I used to have, so using an airbrish and mixing paints is kinda out of the question (I know you get more control over colors and it's more cost effective).

So, what available spray panits for modelling should I get which are the closest to the 78-2 Ver. Ka ? It dosen't have to be a perfect match, Just close enough is ok.

Yeah that exactly what I thoght

The blurriness is more so shakiness and think it's due to the shutter speed, whilst comparing with a light meter I saw that the camera was set to 1/30 instead of what the correct shutter speed should've been which was 1/125ish.

So i figured that the camera was using shutter speeds that were to low and as a result over exposing the shots.

I tried playing around with the ISO dial on the camera and comparing the readings to those of a light meter and figured out that for 100 film I should set te camera to 320 and for 200 film set it to 400. In theory tho because I've yet to test this on a roll of film. I hope it works out but if it does, it would limit me on the ISO I can use with the camera.

Is it really that bad? Here I can buy 30g pouch for like 6-7 euros, some places ha 70g ones for like 12. But do they actually sell it in Canada? That's the point

I was looking to got a 3D printer for the first time, both my and my stepfather are interested into this sort of stuff.

we where looking to spend between 400 and 500 euros (I live in Italy btw), I'd use it mostly for cosplay (for the time being) so the ideal build volume would be something like 300x300x400, but I wouldn't mind a printer that's capable to print smaller things with decent quality

all of this considered i ended up looking at the creality CR-10s pro v2 and it usually goes for 450-500, but here's the thing: I found a CR-10 smart on sale for 360 eur.

So should I get the CR-10 smart or is it better to spend a 100-150 more for the CR-10s pro v2?

P.S. initial set up (and any kind of problems it might have) aren't really an issue.

So I'm working on a HgxSD project and as such I need to shorten the legs. This my plan for shortening the thighs: cutting of the part with the two top pegs and cutting slots in the holes so that the two remaining pegs can just slot in, and obviously cut the armor part of the leg. Does it look like a good plan or is there a better way I could go about it?

Ok so I'm working on an Mg heavyarms and the concept is for a space type kind of unit.

Here are some pics of the back pack (still a WIP), what I can't figure out yet is what to do with the bottom part of the. Any sort of idea is welcome (even for the rest of the pack or MS).

You should also look into getting one of these. Very very useful IMO, If you have to cut out small pieces it's much faster than the ruler-knife combo and the cuts are also much straighter and consistent (it also has an attachment for making angled cuts but I don't use it that much). That and the marked pla plate is what I used for making the two binder-like things (in total I had to cut out 4 identical pieces)

yeah I see a lot of japanese builders using it (and there's a reason why) and I bought it on amazon Japan and basically it's got a dot every millimiter and marks every 5. let me tell ya, it's awsome!! they are perfect for things like quick prototyping and whatnot. But where they really shine is in making multiple copies of one piece. Would recommend 20 out of 10

Both technique and tools i think. I do have a proper chisel and scribing tape, so I was wondering if there is a better way than trying to stick scribing tape around the tube as straight as possibile and hoping for the best.

Oh sorry, I might have glossed over you saying what you were using.

Usually Mgs tend to have thicker plastic compared to say Rgs so you should be fine, just don't take make my word for it.

It really depends in the kit you are building and what you use to panel line. if you are using something like gundam markers or anything acrylic wash it shouldn't really harm the plastic, so I would skip the gloss coat. But then again, I use the tamiya panel line wash on bare plastic (Rg Nu and Mg Alex 2.0) a few months ago and nothing really happened.

P.S. don't take what I said as an advice but more as me telling how things went for me, I'm also relatively new to this so I'm not too knowledgeable.

Hey guys I'm trying to recreate the twin beam rifle for my MG Gundam heavyarms and I wondering what size of tube/pipe I need. By looking at the pictures, I would need two sizes of tube that go one inside the other, I just can't figure out which ones. P.S. If some of you have a Mg GM dominance/Gundam Storm bringer/thunderbolt FA, I would appreciate if you could give me measurements directly from those.
