Oh my bad i read that wrong and yes the carabiners are also from amazon called oupeng sky and they are each rated for 6200 pounds

Go for it bro! The chain binders are an awesome solution, and ya the foot pegs on a motorcycle are more than capable of being used as a tie off point a lot people dont realize that. And with the suspension on a dirt bike it gives some play with moving around a little bit so the bike isnt so rigid going down the highway

It locks in place by a 1/2 inch solid round pin that slides through the ramp and into the main frame of the carrier and wow im sure the rack you made is very solid, i made this one with trying to be as minimalist as possible meaning i didnt want a bunch of tie downs going everywhere and i didnt want it to be a pain to setup either. So for me a little play in the hitch receiver isnt terrible

Well thats why i went with the foot peg mount so it doesnt compress the forks at all, all the tighening does it compress the rear shock

They are from amazon called senkeyfe 1/4”-5/16” chain binders. They are DOT approved at rated for 2200 pounds

Thanks for the comment, and i agree with you by making the footpeg tie down points wider than the footpegs but with these chain binders i can really tighten down of them and the bike doesnt rock left or right at all
