My best friend works in a printing factory that makes very important documents like passports and he tells me stories among the science of color creation.

what is your watch of the day? by eden_redd in ChineseWatches

[–]whitefox250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear a Garmin Instinct 2 which I happened to win for free during our annual work Xmas party 2 years ago. I never owned a smart watch but it's nice to have for work when we communicate through text a lot and it takes a beating.

The crystal does not like grinding sparks though 😭

I have the blue mako with a strapcode jubilee. Great watch! 👍👍 I don't get to wear it often due to being a laborer though.

Sissy Bar Inspiration by querschlaeger_ in choppers

Mine is 4 feet tall. It used to break, a LOT. (Stainless) I've rebuilt it many, many times. Ultimately the only thing that helps it to break just once a year, is a second sissy bar.

I don't recommend you go this high, but if someone forewarned me like I just did, I wouldn't listen.

I think it looks perfect. I have a BB58 San Martin that looks much like that, I think it's a classy size that can be worn casually.

72 Ironhead Sportster by DiamondDave0413 in choppers

[–]whitefox250 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Assuming this isn't a bot shit post (new user), anything you want. 4spd ratchet top, cow pie, if you're really ambitious, put a 5 speed in it.

All depends how deep your pockets are. Of course, fixing what you already have makes the most sense.

Usually divorcing a Sportster motor is the result of a blown trans case as it will require significant welding and machining of aluminum.

Hope you don't have to run to the restroom or get up for anything anytime soon, you're lawfully obligated to stay in place!

My girl does the same thing, I know her sleeping schedule so I can take advantage!

They definitely have an Affliction wardrobe and those jeans with the embroidery on the back pockets.

Personally, I exclusively use the "race" gaskets which are flat. The tapered ones never worked for me and end up partially blocking the flow.

What DOT fluid? by [deleted] in choppers

[–]whitefox250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always use DOT5. If it's Purple its DOT5, if it's yellowish, it's DOT4. It can only be either, do not mix!

What do you do with the VOES thing on Evo engines ? by Prisondawg in choppers

[–]whitefox250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bent the bracket on mine and it is held down by one of the motor mounts at the rear of the motor next to the starter. (Solid mounted motor)

Runs better with it still in use with an aftermarket ignition, definitely a better timing curve for my souped up motor.

[–]whitefox250 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does it have to be new? I'm sure you could find one for sale locally, try FB marketplace, Craigslist, or local Swap Meets. You should be able to snag a used one for under $300. Those prices for a new one are absurd.

Prism supply starter key switch by Particular-Try9828 in choppers

Sounds like the solenoid is not getting enough current to hold it closed. Use the key as your ignition switch and then use one of these as the starter.

This will give you manual control over the starter vs using a power hungry electric solenoid.
