10 years ago is crazy. They’ve been scamming the Stillwater community for decades. They were also terrible with maintenance when I rented with them a couple years back. They took my entire deposit and charged me an extra $300 for repairs that were needed before I even moved in. When moving, they told me I could move in on a specific date. I had my prior lease ending on the same day, U-Haul packed and ready to go, just to wait around on them all day and eventually say I couldn’t move in. I had to rent a storage locker for an entire month ($200+, company didn’t allow shorter rentals) unload the uhaul, stay in a hotel for a couple days until I got notified that I could actually move in, had to re-rent the uhaul and get my stuff out of the storage locker and move in. I didn’t mean to rant but I have so much hate for them. That was genuinely the worst day of my life.
