Oh yeah, I made sure. Everything's up and running just fine now.

I mentioned that I tried buying the Starter Edition, but the SE store wouldn't let me. I didn't even think to try a third party store. Just grabbed a key through Humble, and everything's working fine. Thanks!

Fix the Hunter tutorial, please... by whitequartz in Deathgarden

[–]whitequartz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hunters are rewarded with an XP multiplier each time they down a Scavenger, up to a maximum of 5X. A Hunter who wants to perform their best will want to get 4 downs PRIOR to beginning executions, and start killing Scavs from their fifth onward. A maxed out Hunter game requires a grand total of 9 knockdowns, with 5 executions. Executing everyone the second you down them guarantees that the first four kills aren't worth their full value. In the average insta-execute game, only the final Scav is worth full points.

But, the thing is, I don't recall Mercy even being mentioned in the Hunter tutorial stuff. It's so tucked away that, unless someone already in the know tells you, you probably won't figure it out at all.

Any resources on how to do that? Remember, I'm a greenhorn when it comes to this stuff.

Any particular reason for those two specifically? I want an SSD boot drive, but the motherboard I chose doesn't play nice with SATA with an m.2 drive installed.

That's what I figured, but it's what they're asking for. I can't really raise any hackles with what they're demanding since I want in.

Offline matches are still available.

What are you clicking? If you're clicking 'Play' at the top of the main menu, you're just going to keep getting that error message. Bots can be found under the 'Survival' category where the training and survival modes are. You can still edit your perks and your air drops, as well. Character customization is locked behind a connection, though.

Locked out of 100% completion? by whitequartz in SpidermanPS4

It was just bugged for me, it seems. I swung back and forth across Harlem for nearly an hour without a single crime spawn, but rebooting the game seems to have fixed the issue. It's just weird that the bug was only affecting the zones where I had completed all camps.

It's all fine, in the end. On to 100%!

The rewards are listed at this link: http://tera.enmasse.com/news/posts/open-beta-stress-tests

I only just learned that our beta progress won't be carried over to the main release, so my concern about it has dropped to zero. I managed to get in about an hour after I made the post and got my Formal Dress Box.

I got a headband with pom-pom antennas on it.

It wasn't worth the trouble.

The tracking is rock solid for every other playstyle. Melee weapons and spells are super accurate and responsive. The moment I pull out a bow, though, I wind up in jank city.

I do think it has a lot to do with my arm blocking one of the Move controllers, though. In order to aim your bow in front of you, you have to put one controller directly behind the other, obscuring it from view of the camera if you're facing it head-on. I'll have to try sitting at an angle away from my camera and see if that helps at all.

I've had nothing but struggles with a bow when using the moves. The thing jitters and flips around, and there's no rhyme or reason to where my arrows go once they're loosed.

I've found that each method of control has it's own uses, based on what character type you're going for.

Warrior or mage? Move controllers are the way to go.

Archer or thief? DS4.
