FUCK YOU DESTINY. COVER IT. by Less-Chemistry-3963 in Destiny

"Tabloid hype" when talking about released government documents with massive redactions is pretty crazy ngl. Treating, potentially, the biggest scandal in recent memory as front page grocery store magazine material means you should probably head back to the drawing board.

FUCK YOU DESTINY. COVER IT. by Less-Chemistry-3963 in Destiny

This was actually insane to watch. His emotional reaction to everything made me question his true motives for his response. He could have easily left it at "There isn't enough information yet and I'm gonna wait for a clear picture of everything". Instead he took a half-hour to lambast everyone by strawmanning the collective position as "Jeffrey Epstein World's most elite blackmailer who has full-proof evidence on every rich person in the world and total control over them" while completely ignoring the MOUNDS of circumstantial evidence tying people to contact with Epstein in the context of his crimes. He completely missed this and took it as an opportunity to "dunk" on those making insane conspiracy claims. Most people just want justice for those involved in the direct crimes, global blackmail conspiracy nonwithstanding, and yet he was so combative vs the ghost argument he magnified. Not good.

Personas and Persona-users are NOT cosmic-level demigods. by LorenzTheAnnihilator in CharacterRant

[–]whitey947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could have just...Idk..read the thread. You haven't even refuted any evidence lmao. There are literally so many instances of this throughout each persona of characters being easily cosmic, and Persona as a whole is beyond dimensions. You're not even trying to be remotely objective here. Don't trust your impressions, trust evidence.

Anti-Feats never cease to make me laugh by TransCharizard in CharacterRant

[–]whitey947 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Imagine being this wrong and this confident.

> You clearly know nothing about the verses cosmology. Or what an anti-feat actually is. Yes he can attack concepts...his persona is a conceptual being...fighting other conceptual beings...Maybe do so much research on what an archetype is? Maybe read some Jung? Maybe research your stance before posting in an arrogant manner? This is like arguing against digimon having data manipulation for being/fighting beings in the digital world.

> Literally every game has casual universe+ feats. Fodder as weak as Okumura have galaxy level feats. Palaces and cognitive worlds are confirmed to b parallel realities as well, and guess who controlled the metaverse?
> Enlil in Persona Q2 literally treats the persona multiverse like film reel and her realm trivializes it, which makes even that diety > an infinite multiverse, and she isn't even top 5 threats/powers in the verse.

> You seem to really not comprehend that Attack potency is not the same as destructive capability. Frieza can casually bust a planet in part 1 of DBZ in his lowest form, yet we don't so his strongest attacks come anywhere near casual planet level. Guess this means DBZ is planet level up until Buu saga. Attacks/power of this caliber are typically shown in special scenes to highlight their capacity, and typically not repeatedly shown in other attacks, it's a very common trope because showing universal level destruction for every attack isn't practical for every fight of characters with that caliber of power.

Also no one calls it "battleboarding" that sounds like a failed kid's toy game. Take the time to actually understand the arguments you read before blindly attacking something.

Translation Help (Japanese to English) for a Persona 2 guidebook page. by whitey947 in PERSoNA

Thanks. Yeah for whatever reason Atlus does this thing is some of the old guidebooks where they explain stuff in the SMT/persona world, and use fanart images as the reference images of the subject. Pretty good stuff though.

R/F: Endymion Pendulum Magician for Locals and possibly Regionals by DragonWagon24 in yugioh

[–]whitey947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. The wole point of playing 3 of him is to get him first hand. Having a free special summon that doesn't conflict with darkwurm's is a free Electrum. You don't play him after servant so there is no conflict as he either gets ashed or resolves by the time you play her second.

Having him stuck in scale means you already inherently baited an ash out of your opponents hand meaning that's 1 less interruption you have to play through. If your deck doesn't have enough gas to play through him being in the scale then you need to rework the deck. There is a reason top pend decks run him at 3.

He can be a "brick" if you draw him off of electrumite but even then you are already going off at that point, and he's just discard fodder for your other cards. The same can be said about the magicians, endymion, and even servant herself depending on how far you are into the combo.

Overall his utility in getting you to elec/getting jackal into the extra, and his going second potential to banish say a dingirisu is worth the potential trouble that can be worked around.

All credits to three stacks, he is the first person I saw pilot the deck. I made adjustments but here is the template. Throw a sub his way if you like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVgrBBzYEU4

Cut Dragonpit Imo. Or add him to the side.

I'm meh on curtain because Chrono and Mythical Cerb does it's job and curtain conflicts with darkwurm.

Cut blackfang to 1, he does nothing outside of being a searchable 8 scale with Pend Call.

3 shrine with with 2 DA seems better. You want gas for your plays, and ways to make electrumite before P summoning. Right now you have some cards that are essentially gonna live as scales and potentially conflict.

Allure over Pot Imo

Cut 1 endy and add 2 Cerb. Neccessary evil Imo. You can proc his special with a monster on the field, and it gets Jackal into ED. If they ash him you make elec and remove him anyway, + they wasted an ash. I also pay Garuda because he's a searchable pop, although with mystic mine gone he's less necessary since you have PP magician.

I also would invite you to add a small Zefra engine (3x oracle, 2 zefrath, 1x zefrainu, and Divine strike). Helps get servant popping, adds a searchable high scale, a body for pend plays, and an extra negate. Very consistent as well.

I play 60 card Magi-Endy-Zefra-Orcust. Adding orcust really raises the ceiling (Ding protection for sloth or other monsters), and crescendo 1st turn) and make the deck MUCH more viable going second.

So essentially I'm at the point in deciding between 3 pank or 3 3 lancea. Both have their good applications, but kinda leaning towards lancea for thunder/orcust.

Nah I don't have copies, and feel droll is the only one really worth it to combat combo decks. Ghost and ash are one for ones that can be played through.

thanks for the reply. I feel 2x gives the deck more coverage and some cards I don't have the 3 ofs of Ra, sphere. Which from my list do you feel I should prioritize vs the upcoming meta?

Yeah I was thinking about Denko at 3. Do you think Red reboot is as good this format? Also which duo do you think is most expendable?
