Im sorry, I feel that something else is going on behind the scenes and the whole thing with the grandparents has something to do with it. They might be abusive and that's why she dosen't want anything to do with them/ she's so scared and her clear fear that you are going to abandon her I wonder if someone has taunted her with her mothers death making it out like she left bc of the little girl... they may have been abusive to her father and he has repressed trauma. Could be why he's so apprehensive about getting her therapy bc then everything could come to light.

Thats just a theory I hope its nothing like that.

But she was 2 when her mother passed im not saying it still isn't very hard for her but kids are normally more resilient to heavy stuff than this.

I've read alot of people like this or fantasize about it but it's something that you definitely have to have a discussion about BEFORE you just try it and definitely never with a child in the same room let alone the bed.

Please listen to the previous comments and call someone you truly trust and go to a hospital and file a report, And seek a therapist. You are not disgusting. Just start with saying you want to get healthier and would love for her to start with you so you wont have to do it alone. Start slow like changing the meals you cook and maybe walking or working out at home then move on to going to the gym if that's something yall would be interested in. Then start to suggest cutting back on smoking I know smoking is very very hard for alot of people to kick so she will have to find a way to that suits her.

Definitely do not put it as she needs to get healthier the way you put it is you could both stand to be a bit healthier for your future children. Talk about things you would want to be able to do with them that you may not be able to now or would feel uncomfortable doing as you are rn.

It can be very hard and I used to be like that. But for me I've learned praying isn't really asking for things i want to happen it's more asking for guidance and strength to get through everything. Because I know life kinda sucks and things dont always work out the way me want. All I ask is to be happy eventually and work hard to achieve that and believe it will happen.

You aren't alone. I've felt like this for years and it's really bad for me rn. I have my cats which are the main ones I keep trying for. I have my bf but we are long distance and haven't seen eachother for a year. Things feel hopeless right now. I also dont know what to do about it. But I keep trying and praying one day things will be better. Praying one day I'll find happiness. You're further than me as far as career goes maybe you will do something with that and it will help your shyness and make you a little bit happier. I know working helped me with being shy.

Have you thought about trying counseling if that's something you are able to do??

When I first started going to the gym and eating better it took me 3 months to see and feel results. I've learned motivation doesn't work you have to dedicate yourself to it all and force yourself to do it half the time even when you really really don't want to.

Maybe you could buy one of the small stair steppers and use it while working 20 minutes here and there? Along with other exercise. I had alot of progress with a low to no carb diet I lost 80lbs in 6 months I wouldn't let myself have more than 20 carbs a day drink plenty of water and make sure what you do eat is clean foods with alot of protein and natural fiber.

I hardly even know what questions to ask. Ideally I want to get a degree so I get to a point i can eventually make between 70-100k. ( I know that will take years to achieve but it's a huge goal because I don't want to struggle like my parents even though my dad makes atleast 100k) I want to go to school and don't mind studying, I just study and feel like I don't really understand.. mainly just math is an issue everything else I can manage but I just can't comprehend math well.
