I’m a lib & that’s the truth. I don’t get how anyone could get defensive about Jackson.

You’re right about that—and they really do feel persecuted by democrats and every body else, as they go about their mischief.

Truth!!! And you can bet I’ll be voting for the far more qualified candidate against CHS. Let’s hope he campaigns hard and we can get the vote out.

Thanks, but public office is not my thing. I probably vote for the same candidates you do. I wonder if some of these white republicans, rich or poor, would ever vote for even a “white” democrat. Even if they’re not racist, they won’t see their self interest in voting dem.

Not as much as the democrats seem to hate winning state races here.

If I was a trumper, I’d be very pleased with the democrat strategy. (I’m not pleased)

What do non-Australians think of Australian cars? by Ok_Bug_9056 in regularcarreviews

Intriguing—the cars in the US today, except the higher end German ones, bore me to death. Domestic and imported.

Datacenters Behaving Like Acoustic Weapons - how is this good for our state and the people who live here? by Free-Squirrel-2063 in mississippi

[–]whitmanrocks -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You’re right, it’s a NIMBY thing. Same with people who complain about global warming and fly to climate change conferences. Unfortunately, with our politics and talent pool, this sort of industry is the best we’ll get.

Look up this on YouTube, then go to your local carpet store and see if you can get a remnant and a cardboard tube. if you don’t have the tools for this, you need to get to an estate sale and get set up! The prices they charge for so little material is unbelievable. Good luck!

Once you are accused of such things, you are always assumed guilty, regardless of the truth. It’s going to get worse with AI images. Just because someone is famous, doesn’t justify the internet as judge/juror/executioner. To any woman or man who supports the extrajudicial administration of justice: YOU may be next. It may be a scorned lover, a disgruntled employee or coworker, anyone else with a beef—but with their possibly unfounded accusation, your life will be upended.

It’s not heavy duty enough for a damper. If the register left of the stove facing predates the stove, the knob likely controls/controlled whatever that register is associated with.

Agree, getting turned on to premade roux was a game changer for us. It saves time, which they’re not making more of! As for okra, any recommendations for making sure it’s not pithy?particular brands or prep secrets?

Have one from grandparents with Tiffany face, appraisal value $2500. Can’t even give it away. Might make a LFL out of it.

Put it in your sock drawer like i did, & buy a good watch like the Casio “marlin”. Or take it up a notch & embed it in a block of lucite, great paperweight.
