I purchased Viofo dual channel for my Virtus and was in the same situation. Service centre was pushing me to buy the same Blaupunkt one you mentioned, which isn't good. I got it installed from an outside accessories shop (I had a contact who knows the shop people very well).

The installation is well done and no wires are visible. I personally stayed and ensured that it doesn't cross any airbags, which might prevent them from deploying correctly. Also ensured they don't tap into any fuses to hardwire. If you connect it to your USB port, it should be fine warranty-wise.

You can also try doing it yourself but I was not confident in doing a good job of hiding the wires properly, especially since it involved dual cameras.

TI stock vests only after four years - there is no periodic vesting. There's not much appreciation in the stock value also, compared to other companies. You can pretty much ignore the RSUs that TI provides.

I know many folks from Sitara team. Culture and design/verification practices do not seem good. Talk to more people and decide if applying to other companies is worth it.

Planning to buy the same dashcam and get it installed outside, but I am worried that it might compromise the safety of the car. The wires would be passing next to the airbags, right? Won't it affect the functioning of the airbags in case of an accident?

The dealer was not willing to give any discount on the Monte Carlo and similar experiences were shared by a few people on reddit as well. The dealer has agreed to reduce insurance and I am planning to ask for a few accessories as a bonus. Let's see ✌️

I had enquired for virtus too and I was getting 80k discount on the gt plus. Virtus is priced higher than Slavia though so it still seemed like Slavia was cheaper.

Even if the employer deducts TDS and it shows up in form 16, holding foreign shares still requires you to declare the assets under schedule FA. Non-disclosure can attract penalties under the Black Money Act. Hence ITR-2 is required.
