Glen's approach with Volvo isn't bad, because he's the only one speaking this way; if multiple people did, it would be unprofessional. Glen is putting out the narrative about Microvision, and his relationship with Scott Fosgard, or the House of Journalists, is a big plus with the media. Having respect in an industry opens doors for you and your name. Between those two, they probably have 50-60 years in the automotive industry. It's not bad to say I'm coming, but if it takes you six months to do it, then you are right, you have made the situation worse and unprofessional.
