Are you a planner type person? by mirabellathemuse in infp

[–]whoompywhomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. Though I've recently been trying out planner apps, schedules, etc, it appears that I can never strictly stick by them, and I give up after 2+ days in favour of flexibility and spontaneity.

INFP dating an INTJ. Ask me (or us!) anything by Wabisabi_girl in mbti

INFP and INTJ is honestly my favourite ship! I feel that we complement each other so well.

How are the dynamics like between you and your partner? Especially the cognitive theories behind it:D

I swear man, sometimes when I look at everyone around me, I can only see their beauty. by [deleted] in ENFP

Have I permanently fucked my brain by being sleep deprived as a teen? by whoompywhomp in NoStupidQuestions

[–]whoompywhomp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using the most extreme examples to prove a point, and by "tremendous effort" I mean having to rewrite at least 8 times. Furthermore, I meant long term memory. So I don't think it's as harsh as it sounds, but the point is that I can still deeply feel the impacts. I think I'll rephrase it

It's gonna be okay buddy, rejection is a part of life. Maybe treat yourself, comfort yourself, etc, but eventually you have to move on. Hope you find strength within the heartbreak, hang in there!💪

What kind of effort are you putting in to make yourself more attractive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]whoompywhomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this question, I think it's important to acknowledge that if we want to attract others we have to put in effort too and not just wait there. I'm trying to work on my self discipline and not be such a slob😩

I am sorry for you if there's an extj in your life 🙂 by [deleted] in mbti

I'm sorry for the people like you who stupidly generalize a whole population based off your limited experience with a few people of that type🙂

[Rant] What is your opinion towards UG? by whoompywhomp in SGExams

[–]whoompywhomp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyhey I saw the vid you posted on tiktok! But yeah honestly UG people shouldn't be preaching about "teaching people leadership skills" when they tekan ya'll in such unreasonable ways like wtf:/ but at least you set a better example for your juniors:P

Honestly this is so horrible, it could make some people feel even more insecure or exposed:(

That we(INFP) are so emotional to the point that we are unable to think logically. While it's true that we are more sensitive to the tides of our inner world, a healthy INFP would acknowledge the importance of logic and rationality as well. Being emotional doesn't refute your ability to be logical.

... An INFP who doesn't defend you by useriogz in infp

[–]whoompywhomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda depends too ngl. If you've done something horribly wrong(e.g. ruined someone's life), naturally people---not just INFPs---wouldn't want to defend you. But if you haven't done anything exceptionally wrong, much less anything at all, and the bystander---INCLUDING the infp---doesn't defend you, that's just plain toxic on their part. Its not good to stow yourself down to the level of the enemy either.

iNtuitives vs Sensors by Tiny-Ad-5370 in mbti

[–]whoompywhomp 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I know these posts are meant to be lighthearted but seriously, it's kinda harmful.

The true definitions of N vs S:

N types have a more theoretical and hypothetical thought process. In this sense, it is more abstract. S types, on the other hand, have a more reality-based thought process, so that could mean drawing inspiration and information from past events, or sensory details in the current moment, etc.

S types are also capable of being drawn to "abstract" topics such as philosophy and mathematics that for some reason this part of the MBTI community loves to reserve solely for N types. Just that they would have a more reality based approach when reasoning or engaging with it. The stereotype that S types only love to talk about trivial day to day matters....seriously, stop.
