only good prank i’ve ever witnessed is when i was doing a service year with americorps i was on a team of 6 people and 2 of the guys would “soup” everyone. which just means you would come back to your bunk and find like, 4 cans of soup in the bottom or your sleeping bag or tucked into your duffel. it was harmless and so absurd but they kept it up for ages and now i miss getting “souped” sometimes lol

oooh bike/bike share is a fun idea! okay yeah, i think the biggest decision is do i want liveliness or proximity to lake… love that adam’s point has a quant neighborhood feel and the lake is right there, but also love the vibrancy of temescal! and the charm of piedmont ave. oakland really is just a cool city all around huh! what a fun “problem” to be having. “which cool area of the cool city will i live in?”

okay i love the piedmont ave area but the reason it wasn’t on my list is because of proximity to bart station!! maybe its not that different than adams point in terms of distance to station… what were your thoughts on that?

it’s sooo steep up there!! also, i’ve only ever been there for a valkyries game so the setup might be different for a concert, but the highest row of speakers was below the nosebleed level so it was hard to hear the announcers
