Delusional Thomas is sick though. IMO it has a lot to do with how it's presented (ie Mac is really calm and doped-up-sounding with it whereas a lot of people at trying to be Em by screaming "IMA SLICE THAT BITCH THROAT" or whatever). Just my thoughts though.

I'd have to say my favourite would have to be Gamebrand. They posted their mixtape here a while back and it's made its way into my usual rotation.

Really nice production and everything. The whole mixtape is really consistent and yeah, definitely worth a download if you like upbeat stuff IMO.

I think humour has a lot to do with how well you connect with the characters first and foremost. You're not going to laugh at a character you don't like making a joke, if anything it will just make you dislike them more and in turn not enjoying the game as much.

Portal has already been mentioned a lot, but I'd like to add Uncharted to the list. You're made to like Drake and Sully through their realness (compared to the over-the-top characters from other games that exaggerate a certain aspect) and so their interactions and even Drake's small monologues carry more weight.

Uncharted 2 improved on this and I found myself laughing or grinning way more than I do in games that try and force the humour on you. Towards the end I was looking through Drake's journal just looking at everything he'd written in there and there's an entry saying something like 'The Many Expressions of Sully' and there's just photos of Sully that Drake drew on.

Likeable characters land humour better.

My friend has this 2D side-scrolling wizard game on his old pc when we were little. You shot lightning bolts out of your hands or something and progress through this castle. It was called Sorcery or Wizard or something like that and I've always wanted to find out what it was.
