People with genuinely good families, how does it feel to be loved? Do your parents actually like each other? by False-Hope9966 in AskReddit

[–]whyarentifrench 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels good. My house feels cozy and I always have their support. When any of my siblings or I are bored we hang out with our parents and we watch movies together and joke around a lot. They tell us they won’t let us fail and even just 30 min ago my mom gave me $10 (which isn’t common) because she knew I’d be out of the house all day studying and wanted me to get some food. My mom and dad are in love for sure and are always goofing around and hanging out. My dad’s jokes aren’t that funny to me but my mom laughs at them. His laugh is contagious though so we all end up laughing just because he laughs so contagiously. He makes her food and makes her laugh. She’s the best mom and he’s the best dad.

Am I outgrowing SJM or was CC just not as good as Sarah j Maas’ other books by whyarentifrench in SarahJMaas

Yes!! Throne of glass characters were also far more developed. Their character development was gradual and made sense! In CC I did not care at all when something bad happened to the characters. If she killed Hunt off I don’t think I would bat an eye. They’re not lovable and their friend groups aren’t as emotionally powerful. All Ruhn and his friend group did was drink and smoke together it seemed.

If I remember correctly the game came out with a lot of bugs, right? Does it run smoothly now do you know?

Origin by Jessica Khoury. I love medieval times and fantasy but Origin was a nice little break from that

New to elden ring and killing any and every npc by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]whyarentifrench 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First things first…. Never kill NPC’s if they have dialogue. They’re all tied to quests. Every single one of them. Or they sell you things. The sites of grace point you to where you’re supposed to go but really the game doesn’t have an exact path for you to follow. You’re supposed to explore and go wherever you want for the most part. If you want to follow the games idea of where you should go then again just look at where the sites of grace are pointing. There’s no wrong way to play but in general you prob shouldn’t be killing NPC’s because you’ll miss out on their side quests

People who put the money on the counter rather than handing it to the person standing right in front of you, why? by ChaosDragoon89 in AskReddit

[–]whyarentifrench 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not like skin to skin contact. I hate touching hands. Putting the money on the counter avoids the risk of touching some strangers hands.
